Some Slow Snack activities…

Tomato picking

Early in September a bunch of us went to Eater’s Guild Farm in Bangor, MI to glean tomatoes still left on the vine.  Later that day we blanched and froze them, and another day we made them into salsa and pizza sauce for our school snack.
